OLIVE OIL
Our oils are the result of a mindful and passionate dedication to excellence, from orchard to bottle. They are certified organic by California Certified Organic Farmers and certified extra virgin by the California Olive Oil Council. Our olives are grown, harvested, milled, blended and bottled entirely on the ranch.

Limited Edition
Inspired by both the wide variety of olives we grow and by experimentation with milling methods, in 2008 we began producing a small-batch oil from each year’s harvest. We release it in the late spring in the 375 ml size only, adorned with a collector’s edition letterpress label designed by Dauphine Press of Petaluma.
Our 2011 Limited Edition is a medley of mature, slow-ripened olives from our most fruitful harvest year to date. The oil is a blend of Moraiolo (85%), Coratina (12%) and Leccio del Corno (3%) varietals. The impressive abundance of this year’s crop and the release of our estate reserve oil are an appropriate commemoration of the anniversary of the ranch’s first plantings - our original 1000 Tuscan olive tree seedlings are turning 20! This celebratory blend, with a distinctly floral nose reminiscent of mimosas, has a hint of bitterness and a long, markedly peppery finish. Fresh flavors of wild miner’s lettuce and young spinach reflect the ranch terroir.
