Manzanillo
This is one of the most widespread varietals in the world because of its ability to produce exceptional table olives. Originally from Spain, it is the California canning industry's favored table olive. Bushy trees produce round, large, freestone fruit. The oil is of medium quality and is slightly difficult to extract. Manzanillo benefits from Sevillano and Ascolano as pollinators.
