Arbequina

This oil variety from Spain has a lower yield of mild, flowery oil, but high, constant productivity. A very compact tree, it is good for intensive planting (like the super high-density plantings in the Central Valley) and in small spaces, such as in a pot on a deck or a hedge of densely planted trees. It is considered self-compatible but is frequently planted with Koroneiki and Arbosana.
